Apartments for Two in Moscow and Saint Petersburg: 10 Stays with a View

A bathtub by a window on the 48th floor, a bed tucked into a turret above the Fontanka, a private terrace beside a cathedral dome. Here are ten Moscow and Saint Petersburg apartments for a couple of unhurried days away.

All five Moscow picks are in Moscow City. In Saint Petersburg, the selection leans toward historic buildings, mansards, and open terraces. Some apartments are spacious, but they made this list for their views and unusual layouts, not their bedroom count.

Moscow

1. Rockmond: a round tub by the window

Moscow City, Saint Petersburg Tower. Presnenskaya Embankment, 8с1. 48th floor, 45 m².

This is the one with a tub almost against the glass. The round jacuzzi sits beside the bed, with a panorama of Moscow beyond it. The room comes into its own in the evening, when the city lights appear in the windows.

The apartment is designed for two and has a small kitchen area. You can order dinner and spend the whole evening here without travelling between restaurants.

The listing on Sutochno.ru showed a RUB 10,000 deposit, check-in from 3 pm, and check-out by noon. The nightly rate depends on the dates.

2. SKY FANCY STUDIO: a dark bathtub and Moscow from the 77th floor

Moscow City, Federation East Tower. 77th floor, 55 m².

The bathtub is part of the living space here too, set by a panoramic window. Nearby are a table for two, a hanging chair, and a large bed with ambient lighting.

Dark stone, wood, and restrained colours make this a quieter choice than the red or fully mirrored apartments. The windows look toward the Moscow City towers and central Moscow.

The studio is for two registered guests only; additional visitors and events are not allowed. The rate appears after you select dates.

3. SKY SPA ROOM: a panoramic bathroom and a private sauna

The apartment has a panoramic bathroom and an infrared sauna. In the evening, the lighting comes on and a starry-sky effect appears on the ceiling: a small spa suite high above the city.

The interior is more theatrical, with mirrors, arches, golden details, and a glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom. It suits someone looking for something more striking than a bright, neutral studio.

The apartment is for two; additional visitors and events are not allowed. Confirm the current rate and sauna arrangements for your dates.

Red walls, mirrored furniture, and a bed with a metal frame make for an unmistakable interior that does not try to be neutral.

A bright bathroom with a jacuzzi adjoins the bedroom. The operator describes a panoramic jacuzzi and views over western Moscow. There is also a kitchenette and a large TV, though the room and its height are the main draw.

Maximum two guests; additional visitors and events are not allowed. Rates depend on the dates.

5. SKY DOUBLE VANILLA: corner windows on the 61st floor

Moscow City, Neva Towers. 61st floor, 110 m².

A large living room has windows on two sides. The corner is especially striking: Moscow's towers and lights outside, a sofa, dining table, and calm grey interiors inside.

There are two bedrooms, so two guests have plenty of room. It is an option for a full weekend: make breakfast, settle in, and take the day at your own pace. The operator does not list a bathtub by the panoramic window for this apartment.

Events are not allowed. Check the rate for your chosen dates.

Saint Petersburg

The most unusual feature is upstairs: a small turret with a double bed. The living areas are below, and the balcony looks toward the Fontanka, Anichkov Bridge, and Nevsky Prospekt.

There is a private hammam inside. The apartment is large, but it can still make a leisurely two-person break: look out over the embankment in the morning, warm up, and take your time.

The building has a lift; stairs connect the apartment's levels. The listing showed a RUB 20,000 deposit. Parties and all kinds of filming are prohibited under the property's rules. Ask about hammam use before paying.

The windows look over the Neva, while the private terrace has a small table and views toward the rooftops, Admiralty spire, and dome of St Isaac's Cathedral. They are different views: the terrace faces the rooftops, while the river panorama opens from inside.

Inside are a large living room, classic furniture, stairs to the upper floor, and a billiard table. It is enormous for two, but worth considering if the view and a private terrace are the point of the stay.

Fourth floor, no lift. The listing showed a RUB 20,000 deposit. Parties and filming are prohibited. Check whether the terrace is available in the colder months.

The dome of St Catherine's Basilica is right beside the terrace. There is a table and seating for two. Inside, a vivid kitchen-living room opens onto the terrace; two bedrooms are on the level below.

There are important restrictions: the operator accepts guests aged 30 and over, and the apartment is on the fifth floor with no lift. It will not suit everyone, however appealing the view.

The Kvartirka listing showed an indicative rate from RUB 11,250 per night, not tied to your dates. Cleaning is separate at RUB 6,000 per stay, and the listed deposit was RUB 30,000. Cancellation terms depend on the booking channel; the official site lists a non-refundable rate.

A large living room has rounded windows, an unusual sofa, and a staircase upstairs. The terrace has a table, chairs, and open views across Saint Petersburg's rooftops. There is even a telescope in the apartment.

It is easy to imagine staying for two days: sit outside in the evening, have breakfast at home, and head out when you feel like it. There is plenty of room for two.

The operator's website listed a base rate from RUB 20,000 per night, with a two-night minimum and a RUB 5,000 deposit. There is a lift. Confirm the total price and seasonal terrace access when booking.

A bright living room, large glass doors, and access to a private terrace. Inside, the mood is quiet: wooden floors, pictures, and light-coloured furniture. Outside are Saint Petersburg's rooftops and the city panorama.

This is one of the most homelike-feeling options in the selection. Take a long breakfast by the window, step onto the terrace with a coffee, and leave the weekend free of obligatory plans.

There is a lift and air conditioning. The listing showed a RUB 20,000 deposit. Events and filming are prohibited. Confirm the rate and terrace access for your dates.

Availability and the full price should be checked for your dates and for two guests. A published 'from' rate may not apply to the weekend you want. Ask separately about the deposit, cleaning, and terrace access: these photos were taken in different seasons.
